Does breaking down your goals into smaller ones help when dieting?

Because if you set a big goal all at once, you usually end up getting exhausted halfway through.

So I'm thinking about ways to achieve small goals multiple times.

I wonder if it actually helps to keep going consistently.

I think managing your mental health is more important than I thought.
