Do you also do strength training when losing weight?
It seems certain that controlling your diet—that is, reducing your food intake—leads to weight loss, but in most cases, you lose muscle mass along with it.
And the weight reading has dropped a lot, too.
However, looking at it from a long-term perspective, it doesn't seem like a healthy diet, so I've started doing strength training as well; but then the numbers on the scale don't seem to go down much, so I'm not sure if my muscle mass is actually increasing.
Nevertheless, do you consistently incorporate strength training to maintain your health in the long term?
Or do you do only cardio to effectively achieve your weight loss goals?
I tell myself I should do strength training, but in reality, I don't end up doing it very intensely.
