When loosening the side thigh muscles with a foam roller
One thing I really liked about Pilates was using the foam roller to release tension in my thigh muscles.
It does hurt, but it feels refreshing, and the next day, muscle stiffness is less severe.
So, my mom works out hard at home, but it seemed like she wasn't doing much stretching.
I wanted to share the form I learned at the academy, so yesterday I showed you how to loosen up starting from the side of the thigh.
You just need to lie down, place the side of one leg on the foam roller, and roll it around.
Mom was in sooooo much pain, to the point where she couldn't even last a second and kept screaming, "Ah! Ack!"
I tried having them try a few more times, but they said the stimulation was too strong and they couldn't do it, so I gave up.
I'm wondering, is it right to keep loosening my tight muscles even with this kind of pain?
Or would it be better to stop at this level of pain?
