Do you drink a lot of zero-calorie drinks when you are on a diet?

I'm the type of person who always needs something to drink next to me when I'm doing something.
If I keep drinking just plain water, it tastes a bit fishy and greasy.
However, I can't keep drinking regular beverages, so I've been drinking a lot of zero-calorie drinks lately. Maybe it's because I feel safe knowing they are made-from-ingredients, but I end up drinking a huge amount.
Especially with things like iced tea, I sometimes drink nearly 2 liters. Will there be any particular problem?
I think it shouldn't be a problem since it's zero sugar and zero calories, but then again, I always feel skeptical, wondering if it could really be good for my body.
