Can I lose belly fat just by riding an indoor bike? I'm curious about the effectiveness.
I recently started a diet because of my belly fat, but since I don't have time to go to the gym, I have been consistently riding an indoor bike at home. I usually exercise for about 40 to 60 minutes a day, 5 to 6 days a week, and I am wondering if it is actually possible to lose belly fat just by riding an indoor bike.
It hasn't been long since I started exercising, and while I can feel my stamina improving little by little, I am frustrated because there doesn't seem to be any noticeable change in the belly fat I want to lose the most. People around me say that consistently riding an indoor bike alone helps burn body fat, while others say that strength training is also necessary to lose belly fat, so I am wondering which method is more effective.
I am currently controlling my diet to some extent, and I am wondering if increasing the speed or intensity while riding the stationary bike would be more helpful, or if alternating between fast and slow cycles like interval training is beneficial. I would also like to know if riding on a higher incline is more effective for losing abdominal fat.
