Could my stomach not be shrinking because of constipation? I'm confused whether it's belly fat or bloating.
It's been quite a while since I started my diet, and my weight is decreasing little by little. However, I am worried because, strangely enough, only my belly is sticking out. In particular, my stomach looks even fuller in the evening than in the morning, and my pants feel tight.
I tend to be constipated, so there are times when I cannot go to the bathroom for days. I am wondering if this is making my stomach look bigger. I am even more confused because I have heard that it might not be belly fat, but rather gas in the intestines or bloating.
I am trying to drink plenty of water and eat vegetables, but my constipation is not easily resolved. I am wondering if taking probiotics or increasing my dietary fiber intake would help my stomach flatten out a bit, and I would also like to know if there are cases where waistlines noticeably decrease once constipation is resolved.
Has anyone else been worried like me about their stomach looking constantly protruding due to constipation while on a diet? I am curious to know if your bloating improved after resolving your constipation, and what foods or lifestyle habits were most effective. Please also advise on how to distinguish between belly fat and bloating, as well as practical management tips. 😊
