Is herbal medicine good for dieting? Is the liquid better?

These days, I’ve started to gain weight again. Others say they lose their appetite in the summer because it's hot, but why am I just getting a bigger appetite? I should exercise, but lately, many people are doing herbal medicine diets. Is it better to take herbal medicine in pill form or liquid form for dieting?
