Does bleeding when brushing my teeth mean my gums have weakened?

Recently, I occasionally experience bleeding gums when brushing my teeth.

I wondered if it was because I was using the toothbrush too hard, so I tried brushing with less force, but there were still days when it was similar.

I was just passing by because there was no pain, but
I am concerned because I heard that it is best to manage gum problems in the early stages.

Is it possible that it has been a long time since I had a scaling done, or is that one of the causes?
I would like to know if the condition of my gums is also checked when I visit the dentist.
