This is the hospital I've personally visited the most. I visited for treatment after experiencing ankle pain while playing badminton. Even with continued ice compresses, the pain and swelling I felt after spraining my ankle didn't subside easily, which worried me. The hospital considered the possibility of ligament damage, not just a simple sprain, and provided a diagnosis and rehabilitation plan. For the first few days, I primarily elevated my foot above my heart and applied ice compresses to alleviate the pain and swelling. This process gradually reduced the swelling, and my once-heavy feet felt much lighter. Once the swelling had subsided, I began physical therapy, along with joint mobility exercises and light muscle strengthening exercises. The physical therapy included electrical stimulation and manual therapy, which significantly helped relieve the pain and improve blood circulation. They prescribed a month's supply of muscle relaxants, which I took regularly whenever the pain struck, and I was able to say goodbye to the pain. About a week after starting rehabilitation, the initial stinging sensation with every step gradually subsided. I'm now fully recovered. If I had relied solely on self-treatment for my ankle injury, the pain might have been lessened, but a full recovery would have been difficult. I hope this helps someone like me who is considering hospitalization and rehabilitation after an ankle injury. Thank you, Director Kim*Moon, for your kindness and expertise.
