It seems that I am losing a lot of hair, especially during winter. Every time I brush my hair, the amount of hair falling out decreases significantly, which might not just be my imagination. Is there any way to reduce hair loss even a little?

As a result, increased scalp dandruff can lead to the clogging of pores with dandruff and pollutants. The activity of hair follicle cells is hindered, making hair more prone to falling out.

Hormonal influence also plays a role. Testosterone, the male hormone, temporarily increases in secretion during seasons with reduced sunlight. Testosterone is converted into a hair loss-inducing substance called dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which suppresses hair growth.

To reduce hair loss, you need to start by changing your lifestyle habits.

It is better to wash your hair in the evening after going out rather than in the morning, thoroughly removing the waste accumulated on the scalp throughout the day. When waste such as sweat and sebum builds up on the scalp and causes inflammation, the likelihood of hair loss increases. After washing, be sure to dry the scalp using cold air or natural wind. Be cautious, as water or wind that is too hot can dry out the scalp and damage the scalp's cuticle layer and proteins.

For healthy scalp and hair, it is best to avoid smoking, alcohol, greasy foods, and instant foods. These promote sebum secretion, making the hair greasy. Instead, it is helpful to frequently consume foods rich in protein and minerals.
