My body feels cold

My body is always cold. Is it okay to take diet herbal medicine and warming tonics or herbal medicine together? I find taking herbal medicine difficult, but I want to take them together. I'm not sure if it's possible, and I saw a story on TV about someone who got hepatitis from improper herbal medicine use, so I'm a bit afraid of taking herbal medicine. Just curious, I wrote a few words.
