Gangnam Station Plastic Surgery Clinic Facial Fat Dissolving Injection Review: Double Chin and Jawline: Honest Report of Changes Two Weeks After One Treatment
There are many people who, whenever they take a picture, their face appears rounder and their double chin looks more emphasized because of the fat under their chin.
I have that exact face shape, so I get stressed out every time I take a selfie or a group photo.
In particular, I was concerned that my jawline looked more sagging in photos than in frontal views, so after much thought, I went to a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam Station to get facial fat dissolving injections.
My face shape is generally round, especially Chin fat + double chin line This is the type that looks exaggerated in this photo.
The V-line is the ideal beauty, but the reality is the opposite. Even dieting doesn't help with facial fat loss. Contouring or surgery is a burden.
So, I chose fat dissolving injections, which are relatively less burdensome and allow for localized improvement.
When I was looking for a hospital near Gangnam Station, there were only three criteria that I considered most important.
-
Does the director personally provide 1:1 consultation and design?
-
Is this place experienced in facial line procedures?
-
Is it possible to operate a reservation system without feeling like a factory?
I looked through reviews and chose the place that best fit my criteria.

Hospital atmosphere & consultation process (decisive factor in choosing the hospital)
The first thing I noticed when I entered the hospital was, “It’s really quiet here.”
It operates on a 100% reservation system, so there were almost no people waiting when I visited.
There was no such thing as waiting for 30 minutes even after making a reservation, which is common at dermatology clinics these days.
First, I had a consultation with the counselor, and when I told him what I was concerned about, he recommended fat dissolving injections focusing on my double chin, jawline, and lower cheek area (deep cheek).
Afterwards, the director came to me in person and felt my face and designed the injection points one by one. This process was quite impressive.
I felt confident because you explained why it was needed in this area rather than just vaguely saying, “It’ll fit here.”
Honest review of the procedure itself and the pain I felt on the day of the procedure
Washing your face is essential before the procedure, so I did so in a separate washing area.
The space was clean and I felt good for no reason. And finally, we move to the treatment room!
To be honest, I was really scared because they said they wouldn't do anesthesia.
But when I actually got it, the pain was about a 2 on a scale of 0 to 10?
It felt a bit stinging, but it was bearable, and I thought, “I don’t really need anesthesia at this point.”
The time it took to get the injection was shorter than I thought, so I didn't have time to be nervous.
Immediately after the procedure & recovery process
Immediately after the procedure, medication is administered, making your double chin appear temporarily larger.
I wasn't surprised because I had heard it explained to me in advance, and it actually subsided naturally after a few hours.
Afterwards, a small bandage is applied and it lasts for 2-3 days. You can replace it with an acne patch when you go to work the next day.
I also put on an acne patch when I went to work the next day, but it wasn't noticeable at all.
The aftercare instructions were so detailed that I ended up worrying more for no reason.
Thanks to that, the swelling went down pretty quickly.
Changes after two weeks, was it really effective?
Now, this is the part I'm most curious about.
Two weeks after the procedure, I felt that my jawline had become noticeably more defined.
Double chin is noticeably less pronounced/ jawline is more defined in frontal and side photos/ overall face looks less rounded
They say that fat dissolving injections are usually administered more than three times.
But I felt a significant effect even after just one session.
So I thought, “Oh, so this is why people get facial fat dissolving injections.”
Personally, I was so satisfied that I thought, “I was just worrying for nothing, I should have done it sooner.”
I hope this review of facial fat dissolving injections received at a plastic surgery clinic near Gangnam Station will be of some help to those concerned about their double chin and jawline.

It is truly important to review your lifestyle habits first, rather than getting overly emotional about the numbers on the scale and forcing yourself to increase your workouts. I will definitely keep in mind these wise tips for taking care of my body in a sustainable way.475126.10.22
- 02CommentsI think setting diet goals on a weekly basis is a good idea. A month feels long, so it's easy to lose motivation halfway through, but with just a week, you can try it out and immediately make changes to the areas you were lacking the following week. It also seems like it would be less of a burden if you set a schedule in advance that you can stick to, such as walking and strength training.481026.10.18
- 03CommentsWhen you reduce your calorie intake while dieting, your basal metabolic activity and heat production decrease, which can make you feel colder. Drink warm water frequently and try including ginger tea or warm soup dishes in your diet. Please try to maintain a balanced ratio of protein and carbohydrates rather than cutting them too drastically.542026.10.25
- 01CommentsIf you have joint problems, rather than pushing yourself to walk or run, it would be good to start with exercises that place less strain on the joints, such as swimming or aqua aerobics. It is also fine to start with an indoor bicycle lightly within a pain-free range. Since diet management is also important for weight loss, avoid increasing the intensity of your workouts too much and try to find a way to exercise consistently. If the pain persists, it is advisable to identify the cause first.653026.10.17
- 02CommentsDuring a plateau, I think I would double-check my diet and exercise routine. Sometimes, weight loss goes well at first, but activity levels subtly decrease. It would be a good idea to weigh yourself weekly, and if there is no change for two or three weeks, try adjusting your snacks or workout routine little by little. I've found that making changes that you can maintain in the long run is more important than starving yourself!552026.10.20
- 03CommentsEven if there is a genetic influence, losing weight can lower your blood pressure. You can start by reducing processed foods and salty side dishes in your meals, and instead of starting strenuous exercise, it is a good idea to gradually increase your pace by beginning with walking. Please record your blood pressure carefully every day, and if it remains consistently high, be sure to see a doctor. Changing your lifestyle habits will definitely help with managing your condition.563026.10.18

You can manage it more effectively by combining abdominal exercises with dietary control. Rather than trying to lose weight quickly, try consistently controlling your dinner diet and doing light cardio exercises. - 02CommentsI recommend consuming a small amount of 100% freeze-dried products made from natural ingredients without added seasonings, rather than commercially available seasoned products. Since seasonings contain high levels of sugar and sodium that can stimulate appetite, chewing slowly and in small portions of additive-free products will be very helpful in satisfying your craving for texture.1614126.10.10
