It's been three months since I started Wigobi, and the adjustment process took longer than I expected.
I started Wigobi for the first time in early June of this year.
I have been repeating my diet and exercise routine for several years, but even though it seemed like I was losing weight at first, I kept gaining it back the moment I let my guard down even a little. So, I decided that this time, I wanted to get some help.
In particular, since I used to eat late-night snacks out of habit even when I wasn't hungry and tend to eat a lot at once on weekends, controlling this on my own was the hardest part.
After consulting with the hospital, I started with 0.25mg and maintained it for about 4 weeks.
Honestly, I didn't feel much when I first got it, but after about two weeks, my appetite definitely decreased.
In the past, I used to keep craving something even after dinner, but at some point, I started feeling like I just wanted to stop eating once I finished a meal.
After a month, I increased it to 0.5mg, and I have used it for a total of about 3 months so far.
Based on the place I go to, the cost was around the high 300,000 won range per month.
The cost was a bit of a burden for the first month or two, but I was quite satisfied that the stress of forcibly suppressing my appetite was reduced.
I have lost about 6 kg since I started.
It's not a super fast speed, but I actually think this is fine.
However, there were side effects.
During the first week, I felt slightly nauseous and bloated starting the day after the injection, and once, I ate a lot for dinner and felt uncomfortable all night.
So since then, I have tried not to eat a lot at once and to eat slowly.
On the day I received the injection, I avoided greasy foods and overeating as much as possible, and I also drank water in small amounts frequently.
It wasn't difficult enough to call it a full recovery; at first, I felt like my condition dropped for about a day, but then I gradually adapted.
I am now in my third month and the process is still ongoing, but I am most satisfied that I no longer constantly think about food like I used to, rather than the weight itself.
Of course, just because dosages and side effects vary from person to person, I don't think you should assume that you will necessarily end up like me.
I also plan to consult at my next appointment about whether to continue with the current dosage.
When I first started, I thought I just needed to lose weight, but after actually doing it, I realized that changing my eating habits as well is important.
