I developed varicose veins when I was young, but I haven't had surgery yet and am consistently managing it at home.
The way I manage it is
- I try to avoid sitting or standing for long periods as much as possible (sitting with my legs up at the office helps prevent swelling and feels better).
- Wear low-heeled shoes and loose clothing.
- Engage in light, regular exercise rather than overly strenuous workouts.
- Wearing compression stockings definitely shows good results.
- Proper weight management is really important.
Thanks to this, I am still able to live comfortably without surgery.
Foods that are good for varicose veins include avocados, goji berry tea, buckwheat, and berries.
I am trying to regularly eat foods that are good for varicose veins whenever possible.
