Ankle ligament treatment at Jongno Orthopedic Clinic is definitely effective!

It has been almost a month since I started outpatient treatment for a torn ankle ligament. When I first got injured, I felt completely lost because it was difficult to even walk and the pain was so severe, but now that I have been consistently visiting the hospital and receiving treatment, I can definitely feel myself getting better.
I visit the hospital twice a week to receive physical therapy and extracorporeal shockwave therapy. The physical therapy combines heat and electrical treatments; it feels like it loosens stiff muscles and improves blood circulation, so my ankle feels much lighter after treatment. Honestly, the extracorporeal shockwave therapy is a bit painful, but I am enduring it because it is said to reduce inflammation and aid in tissue regeneration.
The director checks my condition meticulously every time and teaches me simple rehabilitation exercises I can do at home, which has been a great help. I am not completely recovered yet, but the pain has decreased significantly compared to the beginning.
