I went to Kai Eye Clinic to get an examination for SMILE LASIK.

I'm currently looking for an ophthalmologist to get SMILE LASIK, so I got an exam at Kai Eye Clinic first.

I looked up reviews on blogs from people who had surgery at this hospital and watched a few YouTube videos, and the director explains things really well.

So, I was curious about what the actual consultation would be like, and since this hospital was closer than I expected, I made an appointment and went!! I arrived and started with the tests, and there were actually more checks than I thought haha. Including the tests and the consultation with the doctor, I think it took exactly about 1 hour and 35 minutes.

As I underwent various tests, ranging from corneal thickness to pupil size and astigmatism, I learned a lot of new things about my eyes.

But personally, what I liked the most was The director's explanation is really detailed....

They didn't just say that SMILE LASIK was possible; they showed me my test results one by one, explaining why the surgery was feasible and what areas needed careful attention.

They also explained things like glare well after the surgery!

I tend to ask a lot of questions, haha, but I especially liked that you answered every single one of my questions.

Since the test results are sent via KakaoTalk like that, I can review them when I get home, and it would be good to compare them when visiting another ophthalmologist.

I haven't decided to have surgery at Kai Eye Clinic yet because I want to get checked out at other places as well! Still, I was quite satisfied based on my first visit.

In particular, the director explained everything so well that after getting the test, I feel like my vague worries have lessened a little. Haha.

Of course, getting an examination is different from the actual surgery, so I plan to look into it a bit more carefully. If anyone has had SMILE LASIK at Kai Eye Clinic, I'm curious to know what the surgery and recovery process were like!
