Is it normal not to feel any effect after getting Thermage?
I received Ulthera and Thermage together to start my anti-aging treatment.
Today, I’d like to talk a little about Thermage. To be honest, after getting it done, I thought, "Huh? Why don't I feel anything?"
I heard that Thermage uses radio frequency to stimulate the skin's inner layers and help stimulate collagen production. Perhaps that is why the procedure felt so hot, but there was almost no downtime, such as swelling like with Ulthera. It was hot enough that I could rest briefly over the weekend and go back to my daily life immediately.
But I couldn't really see any immediate changes either. After looking into it, it seems like that's just how the procedure is supposed to be.
It’s like the concept of indemnity insurance, so to speak, about maintaining your current skin condition to prepare for the future.
I’ve heard a lot of people say that it’s better to start when you’re young because it’s not about looking flashy right away, but about holding onto time.
So, even if I don't see immediate results, I'm thinking of doing it consistently about once every six months. Of course, it varies from person to person.
At what age did you all start Thermage? I'm curious if I can start now, or if it would be better to wait a bit longer.
