(Concern) Please advise on ways to alleviate allergic rhinitis.

When the environment changes, I get a stuffy nose, severe runny nose, and headache, which are very painful. Taking medication doesn't seem to help much. I'm okay when I'm at home, but the symptoms appear when I go on a trip or visit someone else's house. What's really strange is that the symptoms worsen when I go to a clean rural area with fresh air. Conversely, I don't get them as often when I'm in the city. So, I worry about where to go. I love traveling, but it's a chronic condition, and I'm looking for good ways to alleviate it. Thank you.
