I am really worried about whether I should take hair loss medication for the rest of my life.

I just looked in the mirror and saw that my hair isn't what it used to be, so I am seriously considering whether I really need to start taking medication. However, people around me say that once you start hair loss medication, you essentially have to be prepared to do it for the rest of your life. I am writing this post to ask if anyone has managed to stop taking it midway through due to proper management, or if it is truly like a chore that I have to carry with me until the very end.
