I'm thinking of going to a salon to get a scalp scaling treatment. What do you think?

I've been consistently doing home care, but it doesn't feel like anything is getting resolved satisfactorily.

So I am planning to go to a shop to get a scalp scaling treatment.
Is there definitely a difference if I get it done by a professional at a shop? Or should I not expect too much? I'm curious.
