Precautions

This medication is provided in the form of a glass ampoule, so caution is needed when opening the ampoule as glass fragments may mix in. It should be handled particularly carefully when used for children or the elderly. It should not be administered to patients with hypersensitivity to this drug or those allergic to its components, as well as to patients taking certain antiarrhythmic drugs. Patients with kidney or liver function problems, elderly individuals, children, and those undergoing hemodialysis may require dosage adjustments or changes in dosing intervals. Because symptoms of gastric cancer may be masked, it should be used only after confirming the malignancy. This drug can affect blood, liver, and kidney functions, so if symptoms such as fatigue, fever, bleeding, jaundice, or abnormalities in kidney function occur, administration should be discontinued immediately and a doctor should be consulted. If allergic reactions, skin rashes, or shock symptoms occur, use of the medication should also be stopped immediately. Hormonal related symptoms, such as gynecomastia, increased milk secretion, and erectile dysfunction, have also been reported. This medication may cause gastrointestinal symptoms or neurological symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, mental confusion, and seizures; if any abnormal symptoms occur, consult a physician. Also, irregular heartbeats or severe skin reactions have been reported rarely, so attention should be paid to these symptoms. During treatment, disease progression should be closely monitored, and regular blood tests or checks for liver and kidney function should be conducted to identify any abnormalities. Particularly in elderly patients, those with chronic illnesses, and patients with weakened immune systems, there is an increased risk of infections such as pneumonia, so caution is required. When used in conjunction with other medications, drug interactions may occur, so if you are taking any other medications, be sure to inform your healthcare provider. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use this medication cautiously only when its safety has not been established, and breastfeeding should be discontinued while using this medication. In case of overdose, there is a risk of respiratory depression, so you should visit a medical institution immediately for appropriate treatment. When administering intravenously, rapid administration should be avoided and it should be infused slowly to reduce the risk of side effects. Store out of reach of children, and do not transfer to other containers for safety; precautions should be taken to maintain quality during storage.
