Question) Is it okay to get Botox for under-eyes and wrinkles around the eyes?
I am posting this because lately, every time I look in the mirror, the wrinkles around my eyes keep catching my eye, and I've been worrying about it.
I suppose it is a natural phenomenon that will gradually develop, but I am really self-conscious about the fine wrinkles that form around my eyes and the sunken areas under them whenever I smile, as they make me look particularly tired and older.
People around me say that Botox is the simplest way to smooth out wrinkles, but since this is my first time getting this procedure, there are many things I don't know.
My biggest worry is that if I get hit for no reason, my face will stiffen up and look awkward when I smile, or my expression will look like a completely different person. Some people say that I need to be careful because the skin around the eyes is thin, but for those of you who have actually tried it, are the effects really dramatic?
I am also curious about how much pain it causes and how long it usually lasts after one injection.
