Herpes eye infection

I thought herpes infections only occurred in the mouth, but it turns out they spread to the eyes too.

I've been receiving treatment for almost a month now, and a scab is starting to form.

But it feels really tight, stinging, and painful.

They say that if you get herpes in your eyes, it lasts a long time...

Has anyone ever had a herpes eye infection?

Is there any way to help with faster treatment?
