Treatment for calorie and essential fatty acid supply when oral or gastrointestinal nutrition is not possible
This medication provides calories, amino acids, essential fatty acids, and omega-3 fatty acids intravenously to pediatric and adult patients over 2 years old, when oral or gastrointestinal nutrition is difficult. It helps improve patients' nutritional status and maintain balanced nutrition. It is primarily used to address insufficient nutrition in patients and to support recovery.

This medication must be used strictly according to a doctor's instructions, and should not be stopped or changed based on self-judgment. If allergic reactions such as fever, chills, skin rash, or difficulty breathing occur, discontinue administration immediately and inform medical personnel. Caution is necessary as dangerous precipitates can occur when used with other intravenous calcium-containing products or certain antibiotics; do not administer them simultaneously. Particularly, this medication may be risky for premature infants or low-birth-weight infants, and should be avoided in cases of severe respiratory illness. Patients with allergies to fish, eggs, soybeans, peanuts, or patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function, and patients in acute shock should not use this medication. It should not be administered to children under 2 years of age. Patients with impaired kidney function, diabetes, or liver dysfunction should be particularly cautious when using this medication and should administer it under strict medical supervision. During administration, regular checks of lipid levels, electrolyte concentrations, blood glucose, and liver enzyme levels in the blood should be conducted to ensure no abnormalities exist. Overdose may lead to hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, allergic reactions, etc., and the rate and dosage of administration must be strictly adjusted. Aseptic conditions must be maintained to prevent infections during administration and the injection site should be frequently monitored to avoid thrombosis or inflammation. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should only use this medication under medical judgment due to insufficient assurance of safety.
