Precautions

This drug may introduce glass particles when used as an injection from ampoules, so care should be taken when cutting the container. It should not be administered to patients with epilepsy, myocardial infarction, those on specific medications, patients with allergic reactions, children under the age of 15, patients with a history of seizures, patients with urinary difficulties due to urethral and prostate issues, and patients with angle-closure glaucoma. Use it cautiously in the elderly, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and patients taking anticholinergic medications. Side effects that may occur from using this drug include decreased appetite, nausea, drowsiness, vomiting, excessive sweating, dizziness, increased heart rate, dry mouth, urinary retention, injection site pain, headaches, blurred vision, fatigue, and nervous irritability. The side effects may vary depending on the dosage, and most gradually disappear with repeated administration. Although it is used for treating inflammation or pain, it does not completely cure the underlying cause, so it should be administered appropriately based on the severity of symptoms. Long-term use of the same medication is discouraged, and patients should be closely monitored for any adverse reactions, with immediate action taken if they arise. This drug may mask other symptoms related to inflammation, potentially delaying the diagnosis of infections, so it should be used cautiously in conjunction with antibiotics if infection is suspected. In the elderly, it should be administered at the minimal effective dose with caution, and patients with compromised liver or kidney function should be carefully monitored due to potential effects on drug metabolism and excretion. This medication can cause drowsiness or decreased concentration, so it is advisable not to use it when engaging in hazardous activities such as driving or operating machinery. Interactions may occur when used with other analgesics or specific medications, so consultation with a healthcare professional is recommended before concurrent administration. The use of this drug is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, and it should not be used in children under the age of 15 due to a lack of confirmed safety and efficacy. In cases of overdose, issues with cardiac and respiratory function may arise, so immediate consultation with medical personnel and proper treatment is necessary. It is advisable to avoid mixing this drug with other medications for injection, and it should be stored in a sealed container in a cool, dry place away from children's reach.
