Dosage
For adolescents aged 12 years and older or adults, spray once into each nasal passage three times a day within a range of once every 8 hours.
Precautions
This medication should not be used by children under 12 years of age. Individuals who have had allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to this medication or its ingredients should avoid use. This medication should not be used by individuals taking MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants or antipsychotics, or who have stopped taking them within the last two weeks. Individuals who have undergone specific surgeries related to the brain, have narrow-angle glaucoma, have dry rhinitis or atrophic rhinitis, or have chromaffin cell tumors or benign prostatic hyperplasia should not use this medication. Individuals with allergic constitutions or who have previously experienced allergic symptoms from medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Patients with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disease, or glaucoma should also consult a healthcare professional before using this medication. Patients taking tricyclic or tetracyclic antidepressants should exercise caution. Individuals experiencing insomnia, dizziness, tremors, heart arrhythmias, or elevated blood pressure may exhibit strong reactions to this medication and should be cautious. Pregnant women, women who might become pregnant, and nursing mothers should obtain proper guidance from a healthcare professional before using this medication. If experiencing cough symptoms from smoking or asthma, chronic bronchitis, or a cough lasting more than one week, a healthcare professional should be consulted. If symptoms such as rash, redness, swelling, irritation, or itching occur after using this medication, usage should be stopped immediately, and a healthcare professional consulted. If symptoms do not improve after using for more than three days, stop usage and consult a doctor. Severe headaches, nausea, vomiting, or visual disturbances may occur rarely, and if these symptoms occur, usage should be discontinued immediately and a professional should be notified. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage and frequency; excessive use can worsen nasal congestion. It should only be used as a nasal spray for rhinitis treatment and not for eyes or ears. Co-use is advised against due to risk of infection. Do not use continuously for more than seven days, and refrain from alcohol during use. When administering to children, supervision by a guardian is required. Due to components in this medication, bronchospasms, stimulation of nasal mucosa, swelling, and other side effects may arise, so caution is advised for long-term use. Store this medication out of reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping it in a cool, dry place. Do not transfer to another container, and be careful to avoid misuse.
