Dosage

Individuals experiencing insomnia, dizziness, tremors, heart arrhythmias, or elevated blood pressure may exhibit strong reactions to this medication and should be cautious. Pregnant women, women who might become pregnant, and nursing mothers should obtain proper guidance from a healthcare professional before using this medication. If experiencing cough symptoms from smoking or asthma, chronic bronchitis, or a cough lasting more than one week, a healthcare professional should be consulted. If symptoms such as rash, redness, swelling, irritation, or itching occur after using this medication, usage should be stopped immediately, and a healthcare professional consulted. If symptoms do not improve after using for more than three days, stop usage and consult a doctor. Severe headaches, nausea, vomiting, or visual disturbances may occur rarely, and if these symptoms occur, usage should be discontinued immediately and a professional should be notified. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage and frequency; excessive use can worsen nasal congestion. It should only be used as a nasal spray for rhinitis treatment and not for eyes or ears. Co-use is advised against due to risk of infection.
