This medication is used to improve constipation. It also helps alleviate symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, intestinal fermentation abnormalities, and hemorrhoids caused by constipation. Dosage

Ages 15 and above, and adults: Take 2 to 3 tablets once daily at bedtime (on an empty stomach). Start with the minimum dose and adjust gradually based on the shape and consistency of bowel movements.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases, such as appendicitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, or ulcerative colitis. Additionally, patients with intestinal obstruction or children under the age of 7 should not take this medication. Since this medication contains lactose, patients with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should avoid taking it. It is advisable not to take this medication within 1 hour after consuming antacids or milk. Patients experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, pregnant women, or those who may become pregnant, as well as individuals taking other medications, should consult a healthcare professional before using this medication. Persons on a sodium-restricted diet or those with a history of rectal bleeding or bowel failure should also consult a doctor. This medication contains Yellow 4 and Yellow 5 coloring agents; therefore, patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to these components should use it with caution. If symptoms such as rash, skin redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur, or if constipation does not improve after taking the medication for more than a week, stop using it and consult a doctor. The prescribed dosage should be strictly followed, and it should be administered to children under the guidance of a guardian. Especially, it is advisable to avoid use in children under the age of 10 when possible. The tablets should not be chewed but swallowed whole, and prolonged use may lead to drug tolerance and worsening constipation, so it should not be taken continuously for more than a week. If daily use of a laxative is necessary, it is important to investigate the causes of constipation. Keep the medication out of reach of children, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight in a tightly closed container. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medication, it is advisable not to transfer it to other containers.
