This medication is used to improve constipation and helps relieve symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoids caused by constipation.
Dosage
Aged 15 and older: Take 1 to 2 tablets per dose, up to 3 times a day after meals. The dosing interval should be at least 4 hours. Begin with the minimum dose and gradually adjust dosage based on the form and condition of bowel movements.
Precautions
This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal conditions or intestinal obstruction. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or certain genetic disorders should not take it. It is advisable not to take this medication within 1 hour after consuming antacids or milk. Patients with severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, pregnant women or those who might become pregnant, and anyone taking other medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Those on a sodium-restricted diet or with a history of rectal bleeding or bowel failure should also consult a healthcare professional before use. This product contains the coloring agent Yellow 203, and individuals allergic to this ingredient should take it with caution. If symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur during use, immediate cessation of the medication and consultation with a professional is necessary. If there is abdominal discomfort or cramping, or if constipation does not improve after 1 week of use, discontinue the medication and consult a doctor. Follow the prescribed dosage and administration, and it is generally recommended to avoid use in children under 10 years of age unless absolutely necessary. When taking the tablets, do not chew them; swallow them whole. Long-term use can lead to tolerance to the medication and worsened constipation, so it should not be taken continuously for more than 1 week. If daily laxatives are required, it is crucial to investigate the cause of constipation.
