Dosage
Aged 15 and older: 1-2 tablets per dose Take once daily at bedtime. Start with the minimum dose and gradually increase or decrease while observing stool shape and condition.
Precautions
This medication should not be taken by individuals with serious intestinal issues such as acute abdominal diseases or bowel obstruction. It is also advisable not to use this medication if there are severe abdominal pains accompanied by nausea or vomiting. People who are allergic to this medication or its components should avoid taking it. Patients with fluid and electrolyte imbalances, such as severe dehydration, should not take this medication. It is safe for children under the age of 7 to avoid using this medication. While taking this medication, do not take antacids or milk within 1 hour after administration, and it is best to avoid taking it along with mineral oil. Individuals with severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, pregnant women or women who might become pregnant, and nursing mothers should consult a doctor before taking this medication. People who are taking other medications or have rectal bleeding or intestinal function problems should also consult a professional. If symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and seek help from a professional. If constipation does not improve after taking the medication for more than a week, stop using it and consult a doctor. When using this medication, be sure to follow the prescribed dosage and administration, and it should be given to children under the supervision of a guardian. It is advisable to avoid using this medication in children under the age of 10 unless under special circumstances. Avoid long-term use for more than a week without knowing the exact cause of constipation. Caution is required as long-term use may lead to fluid and electrolyte imbalances or hypokalemia. Patients with reduced kidney function or the elderly should pay attention to dehydration symptoms and consult a doctor immediately if abnormal symptoms occur. This medication is not helpful for weight loss, so it is advisable not to use it for weight control purposes. Blood in stools may occur after taking it but is generally a mild symptom. Dizziness or fainting symptoms have been reported; therefore, avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery if severe abdominal cramps occur after taking the medication. Overdosage may result in diarrhea, abdominal cramps, electrolyte loss, and elderly patients and children need to be particularly careful. In case of overdose, induce vomiting or perform gastric lavage to minimize absorption, and fluid supplementation and electrolyte correction may be necessary if needed. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, it is advisable not to transfer it to another container.
