This medication is used to treat peripheral and central neuropathic pain in adults. Additionally, it serves as an adjunct for partial seizures in patients with epilepsy, applicable in both cases with or without secondary generalized symptoms. It is also helpful in the treatment of fibromyalgia. How to take

Adult dose

This medication is taken orally without regard to food, divided into two doses per day. 1. Neuropathic Pain - Peripheral neuropathic pain: Starting dose of 150 mg once a day, can be increased to 300 mg daily after 3 to 7 days, may increase to a maximum of 600 mg at 7-day intervals if necessary. - Central neuropathic pain: Starting dose of 150 mg once a day, can be increased to 300 mg daily after one week.

Precautions

Mild side effects

Dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, loss of orientation, irritability, depression, euphoria, decreased libido, insomnia, depersonalization, sexual dysfunction, restlessness, anxiety, mood swings, decreased emotional responses, increased emotional responses, difficulty finding appropriate terminology, hallucinations, abnormal dreams, increased libido, panic attacks, impulsiveness, apathy, ataxia, coordination difficulties, balance disorders, memory loss, attention deficit, memory impairment, tremors, dysarthria, sensory disturbances, sensory loss.
