Furthermore, pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as patients taking certain medications, may be at risk if they use this medication. Patients with weak liver or kidney function, elderly patients with heart disease, and patients taking other antibiotics should use this medication with caution. This medication can cause various side effects, although rare, such as serious allergic reactions, gastrointestinal disturbances, liver dysfunction, kidney problems, skin rashes, and central nervous system symptoms, so if any abnormal symptoms occur, immediate consultation with a doctor is necessary. To prevent the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, it is important to confirm the susceptibility to the causative bacteria and to take it only for the necessary duration. This medication may interact with other drugs, particularly those affecting the heart or drugs metabolized by the liver, so it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Pregnant or breastfeeding women are advised not to use this medication, and if it must be used, breastfeeding should be stopped. In children, safety and effectiveness have not been sufficiently studied, so there may be restrictions on use depending on age. Elderly patients may require dose adjustments due to increased blood drug concentrations from decreased kidney function. During the use of this medication, regular tests such as liver and kidney function tests are necessary, and if there are any abnormal findings, treatment should be stopped immediately and follow the doctor's instructions. In the case of overdose, gastrointestinal disturbances or central nervous system symptoms may occur, so if symptoms appear, immediate hospital visit for appropriate treatment is required.
