Precautions

This drug should be handled carefully when cutting the glass ampoule for injection. If glass fragments are mixed in, it can lead to harmful side effects. This drug should not be used in patients with epilepsy, myocardial infarction, those taking certain medications, individuals allergic to this drug or its ingredients, children under 15 years of age, persons with a history of seizures, those with urinary issues due to urethral and prostate problems, and patients with angle-closure glaucoma. Elderly patients, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those taking anticholinergic drugs should use this medication with caution. When using this drug, symptoms such as loss of appetite, nausea, drowsiness, vomiting, excessive sweating, dizziness, increased heart rate, dryness of mouth, difficulty urinating, injection site pain, headache, blurred vision, fatigue, nervousness, sleep problems, hallucinations, drug dependence, seizures, and allergic reactions may occur. These side effects generally depend on the dosage and often resolve with repeated administration. Although it helps relieve inflammation and pain, it is not a medication that treats the underlying cause, so caution is needed. The administration should consider the degree of acute inflammation, pain, or fever, and continuous use of the same medication for an extended period should be avoided. When treating inflammation caused by infection, appropriate antibacterial or antifungal agents should be used in conjunction and patient status should be closely monitored. Notably, elderly individuals should be given the minimum effective dose with close observation for side effects. Patients with poor liver or kidney function may be affected by the metabolism and excretion of this drug, so caution is warranted. This drug may cause drowsiness or decreased behavior, so it is recommended not to use it when performing attention-required tasks such as driving or operating machinery. Using this drug in combination with other painkillers or specific medications may increase side effects, so co-administration should be discussed with a healthcare professional. The use of this drug is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, and its safety and efficacy have not been established in children under 15 years of age. This drug is not recommended for the elderly due to anticholinergic side effects. In case of overdose, immediate consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is necessary, and monitoring of heart and respiratory status may be required. This drug should be avoided from being mixed with other medications for injection and should be stored out of reach of children, ensuring that it is not transferred to other containers.
