In cases of severe and respiratory infections, the dose may be increased to 500 mg/125 mg. If there is renal impairment, the dosage should be adjusted based on creatinine clearance.
Child dose
For children aged 12 years or older or weighing 40 kg or more, the dosage is the same as for adults: 1 dose of 250 mg/125 mg taken orally 3 times a day every 8 hours. In cases of severe and respiratory infections, a dose of 500 mg/125 mg should be administered.

This medication is effective against various types of bacteria and is used for respiratory infections such as acute and chronic bronchitis, lobar and bronchial pneumonia, empyema, lung abscess, tonsillitis, sinusitis, and otitis media. It is also effective for urinary tract infections such as cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, as well as for treating pelvic inflammatory disease and sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea. Additionally, it can be used for treating skin boils, abscesses, soft tissue infections, and wound infections, and it is applicable in cases of osteomyelitis and dental infections. This medication shows therapeutic effectiveness against a wide range of bacteria and is utilized for treating various infections.

How to take

Adult dose
