The treatment duration for nail infection is generally sufficient at 3 months, but in some patients, it may take 6 months or longer. In patients with slow nail growth, treatment duration may be extended. 2. For children: To be administered to children over 2 years old. Administration is not recommended for children under 2 due to lack of experience. Tinea capitis: 4 weeks. Tinea capitis primarily occurs in children. To prevent recurrence of infection, treatment should follow appropriate protocols for the designated duration. 1) Children under 20 kg (under 5 years old): 62.5 mg once daily. Due to insufficient experience in administering this dosage, treatment should be decided by weighing its benefits and risks. 2) Children weighing 20-40 kg (ages 5-12): 125 mg once daily. 3) Children over 40 kg (over 12 years old): 250 mg once daily. 3. For patients with renal impairment In patients with a creatinine clearance of less than 50 mL per minute, the daily dosage should be reduced to half.

This medicine is used to treat skin fungal infections and onychomycosis caused by dermatophytes, such as athlete's foot, body ringworm, and tinea capitis in adults. Additionally, it is effective for treating tinea capitis in children. This drug helps improve various skin and nail fungal infections.

How to take

Adult dose

Precautions

This medication is generally not recommended for patients with chronic or active liver disease. Before administration, ensure a review of the patient's history of liver disease and current condition. Regular liver function tests should be performed before treatment initiation and during treatment, as liver problems may arise. If symptoms of liver dysfunction (e.g., persistent nausea, loss of appetite, fatigue, vomiting, pain in the upper right abdomen, jaundice, etc.) occur, inform the physician immediately, and discontinue the medication. This medication should not be used in patients with blood disorders, severe renal failure, infants under 2 years old, nursing mothers, etc. Additionally, it should not be administered to those with known allergies to this medication or its components. Patients with impaired renal function, elderly individuals, or underweight children should use this medication with caution, and should stop taking it immediately if severe skin reactions occur. Liver function and blood test results should be monitored periodically while using this medication, and if unusual symptoms like myalgia, arthralgia, skin rash, dizziness occur, consult a physician. Dizziness may occur while driving or operating machinery, so caution is advised. This medication may interact with other drugs, so patients should inform healthcare providers of any other medications they are taking, and dosage adjustments may be necessary. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should carefully consider the risks and benefits before taking this medication, and nursing mothers should discontinue breastfeeding while on this medication. In case of overdose, symptoms like headache, nausea, abdominal pain, dizziness may arise, and immediate medical attention should be sought for appropriate treatment. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and at room temperature.

Cholestatic liver failure, hepatitis, cholestasis, jaundice, neutropenia, pancytopenia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell's syndrome), acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, anaphylactic reactions (including angioedema, systemic lupus erythematosus), severe allergic reactions, severe skin adverse reactions, rhabdomyolysis, hypotension and respiratory distress, liver damage, liver failure, severe skin reactions

Rash, skin itching, fever, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, malaise, leukopenia, anemia, photosensitivity reactions, erythema multiforme, toxic skin rash, exfoliative dermatitis, vesicular dermatitis, psoriatic rash, worsening of psoriasis, hair loss, musculoskeletal reactions (arthralgia, myalgia), lethargy, elevated CPK, increased myoglobin in blood and urine, hypotension, urticaria, erythema, facial edema, lymphangiectasia, gastrointestinal symptoms (abdominal distention, dyspepsia
