Dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections as it may worsen symptoms. Patients with allergies or a history of hypersensitivity to this medication or its components should not use it. Caution is required for patients with eczema of the external ear canal with perforated tympanic membrane, as its use may delay wound healing. Patients with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite should avoid this medication because skin regeneration may be inhibited, delaying healing. Patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea should refrain from using this medication. Patients with hypersensitivity to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin should not use this medication, and caution is advised due to the possibility of cross-reactivity. This medication contains propylene glycol, so patients with allergies or a history of hypersensitivity reactions to this ingredient should use it with caution. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Children and infants should also consult a specialist before using this medication. If any unusual symptoms such as skin infection, rash, itching, irritation, redness, pustules, or skin dryness occur while using this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and a specialist consulted. Prolonged or extensive use of this medication may lead to side effects such as suppression of pituitary-adrenal function, glaucoma, cataract, or skin atrophy, so caution is advised. This medication must be used according to the specified dosage and administration, and especially in children, it should be used under the supervision of a guardian. Due to the inclusion of a topical corticosteroid, systemic side effects such as adrenal insufficiency or Cushing's syndrome may occur due to systemic absorption, so long-term use should be avoided. It is advisable to discontinue use as soon as symptoms improve, and if symptoms do not improve after 3 to 4 weeks of use, other conditions should be suspected. When using an occlusive dressing (applying and sealing the medication), the risk of infection increases; therefore, it should be used only under a doctor's supervision, and the affected area must be kept clean. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes and should not be used for any other purpose such as cosmetics or shaving.
