This medication is used to treat allergic or inflammatory skin diseases with secondary infection, including eczema, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, photodermatitis, chronic simple lichens, prickly heat, itching, psoriasis, and first-degree burns.
Dosage
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (disease site) 1 to 3 times a day.
Precautions
Caution is required when using this medication in individuals with specific infections, as symptoms may worsen. Individuals with hypersensitivity to this medication or those who have previously experienced allergic reactions should not use it. Use should be avoided in areas with ear perforations or severe skin damage, as skin regeneration may be delayed. It is also advisable not to use it in individuals with skin conditions such as perioral dermatitis or common acne, rosacea, etc. There may be cross-reactivity in those allergic to aminoglycoside antibiotics, so caution is necessary. Pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, nursing mothers, and children should consult a healthcare professional before use. If symptoms of infection, irritation, rash, itching, or redness appear on the skin during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Long-term use may lead to side effects such as skin atrophy, telangiectasia, and pigment changes; hence it should be discontinued as soon as symptoms improve. Extensive, long-term use, or occlusive dressing methods may lead to systemic side effects, so caution is necessary. When used in children or minors, it should be applied in minimal amounts under the supervision of an adult, as there are risks of growth impairment or hormone function suppression. This medication may pose risks of glaucoma or cataracts when used around the eyes, so care should be taken not to apply it directly to the eyes. Use the medication according to the prescribed dosage and administration, and do not use occlusive dressings without a doctor's direction. Store in a place out of reach of children, and keep it sealed in its original container.
Side effects
Urticaria, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe allergic reactions. High fever accompanied by severe rash, blisters, peeling skin, pain in mucous membranes of mouth/eyes, severe skin adverse reactions. Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, cough with fever accompanying respiratory symptoms. Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy, liver abnormalities (jaundice). Sudden and very severe headache, lightning.
