Precautions
This medication should not be used by individuals with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, as symptoms may worsen. Additionally, patients who have allergies or a history of hypersensitivity to this medication or its components should not use it. Patients with eczematous otitis externa with a perforated tympanic membrane should avoid using this medication, as healing may be delayed. It is advisable not to use this medication for ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite, as skin regeneration may be inhibited and healing could take longer. Individuals with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea should also refrain from using this medication. Patients with hypersensitivity to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin should avoid using this medication. This medication contains propylene glycol, so individuals with allergies or hypersensitivity to this component should use it with caution. Pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children or adolescents should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. If any unusual reactions such as signs of infection, irritation, rash, itching, or redness appear on the skin during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Prolonged or extensive use may result in side effects such as suppression of pituitary and adrenal function, glaucoma, and cataracts, so caution is needed. Children or adolescents should use only the minimum amount under adult supervision, as their skin absorbs the medication more effectively, increasing the risk of side effects. Use this medication according to the prescribed method and dosage, and it is advisable to discontinue use as soon as symptoms improve. Using methods such as occlusive dressings can lead to systemic absorption of the medication, potentially exacerbating side effects, so it should not be used without a doctor's instruction. Pregnant or nursing mothers should avoid long-term high-dose use of this medication and should use it only after carefully considering the risks and benefits if necessary. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes and should not be applied for cosmetic use or after shaving.
