My blood sugar management method is diet and exercise!
These days, many people are suffering from diabetes. Compared to the past, modern people are said to consume too much sugar. So I also checked my blood sugar, and since it came out a bit high, I am managing it.
First of all, blood sugar levels are really influenced by diet. What you eat can cause significant increases and differences in the readings. It's better to choose multigrain or brown rice instead of white rice, which Koreans love. It's best to avoid refined carbohydrates like rice and bread as much as possibleㅠㅠ
So I usually go to that restaurant and just eat meat without ordering steamed rice.
The most important thing is to eat vegetables during meals! Especially, if you eat vegetables first, you won't experience a significant blood sugar spike. It's really amazing—just by doing this, not only does blood sugar stay under control, but you also lose a lot of weight, making it a healthy diet.
Lastly, exercise haha, especially walking a little after meals is good. Plus, these days, the weather is nice, so walking feels good. Walking a bit after eating helps refresh your mood, aids digestion, and prevents blood sugar from rising, so I think it's really a win-win situation haha.
So these days, my blood sugar levels are well controlled.
