(Question) I keep grinding my teeth while sleeping. What kind of procedure would be helpful?
I don't really notice it normally, but my family keeps telling me that I grind my teeth very severely while sleeping. Sometimes, when I wake up in the morning, my jaw feels stiff or my teeth feel sensitive, so I am worried that I shouldn't just leave it alone.
I searched online and found that there are methods like Botox or mouthguards, but I am not sure which treatment is used in which cases. I am curious to know what procedures or treatments people who grind their teeth severely usually receive.
I would like to know if Botox is effective for teeth grinding caused by developed jaw muscles, and if so, how long the effects last. I would also like to know what other treatments would be beneficial to receive in conjunction with Botox to prevent tooth wear.
If anyone has actually received this treatment or procedure, I would appreciate it if you could share your experiences, including how effective it was, whether there was any recurrence, and the cost.
