(Concern) I have calcific tendinitis in my shoulder.
There are times when the pain at the connection between the shoulder and arm is severe.
When the pain is severe, it hurts so much every time I lift my arm that I make a squeaking sound, and it's so painful I can't even tie my hair. Sometimes I fall asleep with shoulder pain and wake up during sleep.
Since I fell and hit my upper body badly last winter, the pain has worsened. I went to the hospital and had an X-ray taken, and they said I have calcific tendinitis.
I looked into why calcific tendinitis is so painful.
Are there anyone who has suffered from shoulder calcific tendinitis like me?
Are there people who have improved solely through self-exercise therapy?
What treatments have been effective when receiving treatment for calcific tendinitis?
I think I heard that surgery might be necessary if it gets worse.
I'm curious whether those who had surgery for calcific tendinitis are doing well without pain and living healthily after the procedure.
As I get older, my illnesses increase one or two by one, which makes me upset.
