Obstetrics and gynecology consultations are the most embarrassing, especially when seeing a male doctor. Am I the only one feeling this way? I regularly get cervical cancer screenings through national health checkups, but I haven't had ultrasounds often because of the cost. After turning 40, how often should I have a pelvic ultrasound? How often do others get these exams?
