Can parting my hair to only one side cause hair loss?

I currently have long hair.

I usually part my hair slightly to the right of the center.

It’s become a habit, so I keep doing that every time I dry my hair.

I was maintaining it

At some point, the area around the parting looked a bit sparse.

I had a thought

If you keep parting your hair to only one side

Could this cause hair loss?
