I had a regular checkup at Barunsol Internal Medicine Clinic.

We started at the scheduled time.

I got a needle inserted to put me under general anesthesia for an endoscopy. (It was successful after 2 insertions, they said my blood vessels are a bit thin.) After doing other tests, I lay down on the bed for the endoscopy and it seemed like they were injecting the anesthetic, but it must have gone somewhere other than my blood vessels, so it didn't work at all. I was hurriedly telling them that it didn't seem to be working at all with the needle in my mouth, and I was worried because I wasn't sure if they understood me. They didn't care and just pressed down on me, telling me not to move my tongue and asking if it was okay to just do it. It was actually more like asking for my consent. I didn't consent, so they inserted the needle again in a different place, and it seems the anesthetic went in after that. It seems they did the test, after all.

No one has apologized for this, not even a word.

I went there because it was close to my house, but I plan to look for a different place next time.
