After visiting the Incheon Health Management Center...
I had a health checkup at the Incheon branch of the Korea Health Management Association around the end of October.
Based on past experience, I expected it to be very crowded, but that day there were fewer people waiting than I expected, so I was able to get tested without any problems.
What caught my eye was the announcement that the center would be relocating to a new building in Guwol-dong next year. The center currently operates in an old, worn-out building, with a narrow parking lot and screening rooms divided by floor, creating a complex flow of traffic. I was curious to see how the new building would be designed. The announcement suggested separate screening rooms for men and women, state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, spacious and comfortable lounge areas, and convenient parking.
I believe that the most important aspect of this facility layout is to consider the consumer's perspective, including the time required for each type of screening, the screening order, and the corresponding travel routes, based on accumulated data. Furthermore, by securing competent professionals and setting the goal of making a tangible contribution to public health, and by meticulously considering all aspects of service, I believe the facility will become even more trustworthy.
It can be said that expectations for the newly renovated association are quite high.
