Washing hair in the morning
 
For the health of your scalp, it is better to wash your hair in the evening. Washing your hair in the morning leaves the scalp's sebum washed away and exposes it to ultraviolet rays. Not only the face but also the scalp is sensitive to UV rays because it receives direct sunlight from the highest point of the body. Exposure to UV rays without a protective barrier causes more damage to the scalp, making it easier for sebum and dead skin cells to accumulate and lead to hair loss. Moreover, harmful substances such as dust and sebum accumulate on the scalp and hair during the day, and sleeping without washing them off is harmful to the scalp. Especially for preventing hair loss, thoroughly washing your hair at night is much better. This removes the waste products accumulated on the scalp throughout the day, allowing the hair to grow better.

Fill the shampoo bottle with water before use
 
Many people add water to their shampoo bottles and mix it to save leftover shampoo. When only shampoo is inside, bacteria do not reproduce to problematic levels thanks to preservatives in the shampoo. However, adding water dilutes the preservatives, allowing bacteria to grow. Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which prefers water, creates an ideal environment for growth in shampoo bottles with added water. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a pathogenic bacterium that can cause intractable infections such as sepsis, systemic infections, chronic airway infections, and is particularly problematic for patients with cystic fibrosis. It can cause ear infections like otitis externa and media, as well as skin rashes, especially in patients with weakened immune systems due to burns or trauma. While the pathogenicity of Pseudomonas aeruginosa itself is mild, it can lead to mixed infections or secondary infections when combined with other bacteria. If a Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection results in sepsis, it can be fatal.

Rinse immediately after shampooing=
 
There are differences depending on hair length, but generally, if you lather your hair with shampoo, it is recommended to wait 3 to 5 minutes. This allows the cleansing ingredients in the shampoo to act on the scalp and properly wash away waste products such as sebum and dead skin cells. A research team from the Department of Cosmetology at Konkuk University Graduate School of Industry conducted a study on 20 men and women with hair loss in their 20s to 60s. They compared scalp cleanliness after shampooing when the foam was rinsed immediately versus when the foam was left for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing. The results showed that leaving the foam for 3 to 5 minutes resulted in more thorough removal of waste products.

Bowing your head to wash your hair
 
Bending your head forward puts greater stress on your spine compared to standing upright. It can worsen neck or back pain. Especially in the morning when your muscles are stiff, putting extra strain on your neck and back can be problematic, so you should avoid bending your body recklessly. Therefore, when washing your hair, it is better to stand upright and tilt your head slightly backward. Developing a habit of washing your hair and showering together naturally leads to this posture when washing your hair. If you only wash your hair in the morning, it is important to do enough stretching before washing to loosen up your stiff body from sleeping.

Wrapping wet hair with a towel
 
If your hair is long, you might spend time with a towel wrapped around your head after showering. Some people also wrap a towel around their head to keep their hair from sagging during a shower. However, drying wet hair with a towel can make the scalp damp and create a warm environment. This can lead to dermatitis, and the longer it is left untreated, the more easily scalp bacteria can proliferate. Wet hair should be dried quickly from the scalp.
