Two years ago, I went through difficult days due to shoulder pain. I couldn't even dress or undress myself. When I tried to lift my arm, tears would stream down because of this shoulder pain, which lowered my quality of life. I couldn't sleep properly at night. During that time, an acquaintance recommended the Chronic Pain Medicine Clinic.

The results of the initial examination indicated that the early symptoms of frozen shoulder and shoulder stiffness were quite severe. They recommended injection therapy and manual therapy, emphasizing the importance of stretching. I asked whether surgery might be a better option. They said it wasn't yet necessary to consider surgery, but I felt that the pain was so intense and difficult that they were speaking too casually about it.

At first, lifting my arm was so difficult that I started stretching while lying down and asked my son or husband for help. At first, I thought I was going crazy. It was so painful. However, after a week or two, the pain gradually began to decrease and the range of motion started to improve. The doctor looked at the ultrasound and said that the adhesions had significantly improved, and that injection therapy was only a supplementary treatment. He advised stopping the injections.

And I started doing regular stretching at home whenever I had time. And after two months, I was able to take off and put on my clothes freely by myself. Now I wonder when my shoulders used to hurt.

 

When shoulder pain begins, the most important factors are the individual's willpower and effort, and stretching is the best solution. Even those who have undergone surgery often experience recurrence. The reason is that their lifestyle habits do not change. It seems that stretching is the answer to all pain.

I am now free from the unbearable shoulder pain and have become someone who can carry out daily activities on my own.

I have escaped shoulder pain and now live a human life where I can dress and undress myself, and I have even become a stretching ambassador.

 

Stretching is the fundamental way to escape from chronic pain. Let's do stretching diligently.

    저도 어느날 갑자기 어깨가 찢어질 듯이 아파서 병원에 가서 어깨에 주사를 맞았었는데 이제는 그냥 스트레칭으로 해결합니다.
    매일 아침 어깨 스트레칭 해주면 훨씬 통증이 없어지더라구요
