This medication is used for the treatment of moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication is taken orally once daily, and it should be administered at the same time every day. If necessary, it can be taken twice daily. Dose escalation: The maximum daily dosage is 20 mg, and to minimize the risk of adverse reactions, it is recommended to increase the dose by 5 mg weekly for the first 3 weeks. Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who are allergic to any component of this medication. It is also safest to avoid administration in patients with severely impaired liver function or severely impaired kidney function. Patients with epilepsy or a history of seizures, and those with a predisposition to epilepsy should use this medication with caution. When taken with certain medications, central nervous system side effects may be increased, so it should not be taken with drugs such as amantadine, ketamine, and dextromethorphan.
