Relief of pain (headache, toothache, etc.) and fever
This medication is used to relieve various types of pain such as headaches, toothaches, sore throat, and muscle aches. It is also effective for pain relief after tooth extraction and in treating joint and nerve pains. It alleviates pain from low back pain, shoulder stiffness, and bruises, and helps with menstrual pain such as dysmenorrhea. Moreover, it stabilizes the body condition during chills or fever with its antipyretic action. With these benefits, it helps patients in their daily life to be more comfortable.
For individuals 15 years and older: 1 tablet per dose, up to 3 times a day, and should be taken avoiding an empty stomach. The dosing interval should be at least 4 hours.
This medication may put a strain on the liver, so people who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication or any other pain reliever/antipyretic. Serious rashes or blisters may occur on the skin during the use of this medication, and if such symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. The acetaminophen included in this medication should not exceed 4,000 mg per day; taking this medication together with other medications containing acetaminophen may cause liver damage. When taking this medication, it is advisable not to take other pain relievers/antipyretics, cold medications, or sedatives. Children who have had or are suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergies, elderly individuals, pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If unusual symptoms such as rash, vomiting, dizziness, or swelling occur after taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional, and if symptoms do not improve after 5–6 doses, seek professional medical advice. Children under 2 years old should generally not take this medication unless specifically directed by a physician. This medication should be taken according to the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines, and care should be taken not to use it for an extended period, and alcohol should be avoided while taking it. Taking this medication with certain other drugs may slow the metabolism of acetaminophen, so if you are taking other medications, consult a healthcare professional. Moreover, caution is needed when this medication is taken with specific antibiotics as it may rarely cause severe metabolic acidosis.
