Treatment of respiratory diseases (chronic bronchitis, asthma, etc.) and enhancement of pulmonary surfactant production, prevention of pulmonary complications
This injection is used for acute and chronic respiratory diseases caused by mucus secretion disorders, such as chronic bronchitis, asthmatic bronchitis, and acute episodes of bronchial asthma. Additionally, it promotes the production of pulmonary surfactant in neonates and preterm infants with respiratory distress syndrome, assisting in breathing. Moreover, it is effective in preventing pulmonary complications before and after surgery in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Thus, this drug plays a crucial role in improving respiratory health.

Due to the fact that this drug is an ampule injection, there is a risk of glass fragments entering the injection when cutting the glass container, which can cause side effects. Special care should be taken when used by children or the elderly to ensure no glass fragments are introduced. This drug should not be administered to individuals allergic to it or its components. It should be administered with caution to patients with poor kidney function, severe liver disease, and infants under 2 years of age. Serious skin disorders may rarely occur during treatment, so if any new damage appears on the skin or mucous membranes, the drug should be discontinued immediately, and medical professionals should be informed. Furthermore, rare symptoms such as skin rash or severe allergic reactions, breathing difficulties, and facial swelling may occur, and if such symptoms arise, immediate medical attention should be sought. In the respiratory system, inflammatory rhinitis may develop, and in the nervous system, there may be altered sensation of the tongue or changes in taste, and rarely sensations of oral paralysis or arm paralysis. This drug may increase the concentration of antibiotics in bronchial or pulmonary secretions when used with certain antibiotics, so caution is needed when used in combination. Use during pregnancy is not recommended, especially in the first three months, and it should be administered with caution in pregnant women as it can cross the placenta. Breastfeeding women should only use this medication if the benefits are deemed to outweigh the risks, as it may pass into breast milk. No specific symptoms have been reported with overdose, but appropriate symptomatic treatment may be required if adverse reactions occur. During injection, headaches, leg pain, and severe fatigue may occur, so it is advisable to inject slowly.
