Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. For example, it should not be given to those who are allergic to this medication or any of its components, or who have experienced hypersensitivity reactions, who have untreated infections of the nasal mucosa, or who have had recent nasal surgery or have injuries to the nasal area, and it should not be administered to infants under 2 years of age. Additionally, this medication should be used cautiously in some patients. Those with active or latent tuberculosis, systemic infections, herpes simplex in the eyes, those who experience frequent nosebleeds, those at risk of exposure to varicella or measles, those with certain nasal conditions, or pregnant or breastfeeding women should use it under the careful supervision of a physician. When using this medication, a variety of side effects may occur, including headaches, viral infections, pharyngitis, nosebleeds, cough, and upper respiratory tract infections. Particularly, symptoms such as nosebleeds and nasal mucosal irritation, headaches, and upper respiratory tract infections have been reported relatively frequently, and in rare cases, severe allergic reactions such as bronchospasm or anaphylaxis may occur. Caution is necessary when using high doses for long periods, as systemic steroid side effects may appear, and if a nasal infection or injury occurs, use should be stopped immediately and treatment sought. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should carefully consider the potential risks and benefits of this medication, and growth monitoring is needed in children due to the potential for growth delay. This medication can interact with other drugs, especially when used with CYP3A4 inhibitors, which may increase the risk of systemic side effects. Before use, shake the container well and spray as directed, taking care not to spray directly into the eyes or the septum. Store in a tightly sealed container in a place out of reach of children, and dispose of products past their expiration date. It is important to consult a healthcare professional if unusual symptoms occur while using this medication.
